Union don't just live in the present day, and we aren't even facing solely towards the future; we have to remember where we come from, our roots. Union Beat Hoffenheim 4-0
In an excellent team performance, 1. FC Union beat TSG Hoffenheim 4-0, away from home on Saturday afternoon. While Andrej Ilić scored his first in an Union shirt, and Benedict Hollerbach bagged a brace, the plaudits would go to Marin Ljubičić who scored the third with his first ever touch in an Union shirt.

Union beat HSV 2-1
1. FC Union Berlin’s women’s team beat Hamburger SV 2-1 on Saturday afternoon in their return to the 2. Liga after the winter break. Having gone a goal down after only a minute, the guests rallied through Lisa Heiseler’s equaliser, before the captain rounded things off in style with a brilliant lob after 56 minutes.

Lottery Dates for February
1. FC Union Berlin will host Holstein Kiel on Sunday, 2 March 2025 before hosting record champions, Bayern München, at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei. The exact date of this game has not yet been scheduled. As usual, there will be a lottery for Union members to apply for tickets for both games.

1. FC Union Berlin’s women’s team won their last mid-winter friendly 13-0 against FC Schlieren. Having already put half a dozen goals past the Swiss second division team by half time, a rampant Union added another seven after that, with Dina Orschmann Lisa Heiseler and Pia Metzker scoring hat-tricks.

1. FC Union Berlin’s men’s team will play the rest of the second half of the 2024/25 Bundesliga season without goalkeeper Yannic Stein. The 20-year-old was recently back in Union’s matchday squad after his injury in the first half of the season, but is now moving to Babelsberg 03 on loan in the Regionalliga Nordost.

Since June 2023, the Pears Jewish Campus (PJC) in Berlin Wilmersdorf has been open to people of all faiths and, in addition to a daycare centre, primary school and secondary school, also houses art and music studios, a cinema, a sports and event hall and an outdoor sports facility.

After nine intensive days at the Spanish winter training camp in Oliva, presented by sonnenschutz.de, the women's team of 1. FC Union Berlin are back home. Seven sessions on the pitch, three in the gym and a friendly against Bayer 04 all took place in the camp, a valuable step in their preparations for the second half of the season.

1. FC Union Berlin ended their winless streak on Sunday afternoon, beating FSV Mainz 05, 2-1, in a breathless encounter at the Alte Försterei. Benedict Hollerbach's first minute opener was balanced out by Nadiem Amiri's 5th minute penalty, but Robert Skov scored the winner, also from the spot, after 24 minutes.
