The votes have been counted. Just in time for the first competitive match of the 2023/24 season, the men's professional squad have announced its three captains and team council. Included are faces both old and new.

Captains

Christopher Trimmel remains Union’s club captain and will wear the armband as he leads Union into their first season in the UEFA Champions League. In the sixth year of his captaincy, he will be deputised by Rani Khedira, as he was last time. Their number three in remains, also as before, Sheraldo Becker.

Team Council

In addition to the captains, the team council is completed this season by goalkeepers Frederik Rönnow and Jakob Busk as well as Danilho Doekhi and Jérôme Roussillon. The septet represents the entire team in internal team matters, organises events within the team and acts as a contact for the coach, management and presidium.
