On Wednesday (23/10) at 18:30, 1. FC Union Berlin's under-19 team will look to put the disappointment of last week behind them with three points in the derby at Hertha Berlin.

Andre Vilk's side missed the chance to continue the unbeaten start and go top of the league, losing 2-3 at home to Wolfsburg. However, Wednesday's derby presents an excellent opportunity to get back on track. "If we can stand up to Wolfsburg for 90 minutes, we can also play well against Hertha. We'll definitely go on the pitch with a good attitude," said Vilk.

At the weekend, Hertha moved ahead of Union in the league table. The Old Lady picked up a 6-0 win over Chemnitzer FC and will be in good shape for the derby. The history between the teams at this level hands Hertha an advantage — with 11 wins from 17 encounters.
