New coach of the A-Youth
Daniel Schulz Takes Over U-19s
Daniel Schulz will take over as head coach of the A-Junior team at 1. FC Union Berlin until the end of the season. Schulz, who will continue to coach the U21 perspective team, is taking over the role from Marie-Louise Eta.
The 40-year-old has been active in Union's youth academy since 2018 and has already been responsible as a coach for all age groups starting from the U15. Schulz, who holds the A+ license, was previously active as a player both in the youth teams and with first team at Union. From 2005 to 2010, the center-back played in the first team, regularly leading the team as captain.
The A-Junior's coaching staff is completed by André Vilk, who previously coached the U-17s. The U-17's will now be led by Arthur Jujko, who was previously the team's assistant coach. He will be supported by Chinedu Ede, who previously worked as an assistant coach in the U14.
The U19's season continues this Wednesday when, At 19:00, they will host Hertha BSC in the semi-final of the Berliner Landespokal at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei. Tickets can be booked online.
