The German Football Association scheduled the first round of the DFB Pokal this Friday morning, 19 July 2024. The draw took place back in June.

On Tuesday, 20 August 2024 at 18:30, the Professional Women's Team of 1. FC Union Berlin will visit FSV Gütersloh. The match at the Ohlendorf Stadium in Heidewald was selected as the top match of the first main round and will therefore be broadcasted by Sky. Following the match, the second round will be drawn live in the stadium.
