Leading the Women's Team With Experience and Feeling:

Captain and Team Council Appointed

The women’s team of 1. FC Union Berlin have appointed their captains as well as the team council for the upcoming season.

Captain & Vice-Captain

The captain's armband remains in familiar hands. Lisa Heiseler, an Unioner for over eleven years and last season's 2. Liga top scorer, will lead her team again as captain. Cara Bösl, goalkeeper and an important support in the team, has been appointed as co-captain for the first time.

Team council

The team council has also been newly established. In addition to Heiseler and Bösl, Judith Steinert and Tanja Pawollek will now also be part of the committee. Anna Weiß, already in the council last season, completes the quintet. The five-member team take responsibility for internal processes, strengthen the cohesion in the dressing room, and act as a link between the team, coaching staff, and club management.
