1. FC Union Berlin's women's team will have to do without full-back Pia Metzker until further notice. The 20-year-old suffered an injury in training and will miss the start of the second half of the season.

Metzker moved to Köpenick in the summer from 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam II becoming a regular starter in head coach Ailien Poese's team. The Aken native missed just one game in the first half of the season.
