After yesterday's arrival in the picturesque town of Windischgarsten in Upper Austria, 1. FC Union Berlin's pre-season training programme finally got underway.
The first-team squad had breakfast at 08:15 before the first training session at 10:00. Urs Fischer's team looked sharp around the usual finishing drills and attacking combinations, as well as, refining the usual processes which take place on the park. Neven Subotic, Sheraldo Becker and Florian Hübner trained individually as they look to catch up on their own fitness.
Once lunch and the media duties were out the way, the second training session started as scheduled at 16:30. Divided into groups, Union worked on games, which focused on switching the play quickly, aggressive pressing and explosive sprints.
Tomorrow the training will continue - also at 10:00 and 16:30.
