The 36 professional clubs of the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga today held a video conference and agreed to postpone game operations until April 30, 2020 due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
For 1. FC Union Berlin, this means that matchdays 28-31 are now postponed. In this period, the club was scheduled to play Mainz, Borussia Mönchengladbach, 1. FC Köln and Schalke. The previous matches against Hertha BSC and Bayern Munich were also postponed.
On top of the resolutions passed, a "Special Operations / Sports Medical" task force has been established. A further meeting has been scheduled for April 17.
