1. FC Union Berlin's Under-19 team takes on RB Leipzig at the FEZ-Berlin complex on Saturday March 2. The match will kick off at 12:00.

Coach Toni Mandl has been working hard to lay the foundations for an important game against Leipzig. "The team has trained with concentration and continues to work hard on a consistent basis. With this constant development, we should be successful again. Now the weather has improved, the team will go back to playing at the FEZ-Berlin, our home venue, for our home games. The time for artificial turf is over."

Last weekend, Union Berlin were defeated 1-2 against city rivals Hertha. The Köpenick club fought well and enjoyed periods of dominance, but only managed to get on the scoresheet when Hertha were ahead by two. Mandl's side missed further chances in the second half and came within inches of grabbing a late equaliser.

Leipzig have won their last three games and have the strongest defence in the U19 Bundesliga for the north and north-east. "The players must stay compact in defence. In our own possession phases, we need to be more confident and try to create goalscoring situations," added the boss.

Admission is free for all supporters this season.
