1. FC Union Berlin will be looking to build on last week's opening weekend win over Hannover with three points in Hamburg against Niendorfer TSV.
The youngsters opened the season with a home win against Hannover 96 (4:3) thanks to a last-minute winner. Head coach André Vilk wants to see an even better score and hopes the defence can improve from conceding three goals last week. All in all, however, Union will travel to Hamburg with a successful start to the season.
Niendorfer also played in Berlin last weekend. The match against Hertha BSC ended with a draw (2:2), with the side from Hamburg pulling back the recent German champions twice.
