Bundesliga duel as the highlight of the summer training camp:
Union faces HSV in Neuruppin
On Saturday, 25.07.2026, the professional women of 1. FC Union Berlin have their next Friendly scheduled as part of the summer preparation. In the Volksparkstadion in Neuruppin, the Unionerinnen will face a direct competitor from the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga, Hamburger SV, at 15:00.
After their promotion in the 2024/25 season, HSV returned to the Frauen-Bundesliga in the 2025/26 season for the first time in 13 years. The team finished in 12th place in the table, securing their survival in the league.
For the Hamburg women, the summer preparation has been underway since July 1. With four completed Friendlies, head coach Rodolfo Cardoso's team has already taken several opportunities to prepare for the upcoming Bundesliga season. Additionally, HSV has strengthened their squad this summer with six new signings.
The match at the Volksparkstadion in Neuruppin offers a comparison of two clubs that faced each other in the league duels last season with a 1-1 draw and a last-minute victory for Union (1-0).
In the Friendly against HSV, the coaching staff must do without Anna Aehling, Cara Bösl, Hannah Eurlings, Korina Janež, Lisanne Gräwe, Mariann Noack, Dina Orschmann, Tanja Pawollek, and Judith Steinert.
“The game against HSV is the conclusion of an intense week of training camp for us. We are looking forward to a good test at a high level and want to bring the focal points we have worked on in the past days onto the pitch. At the same time, all the players will get a chance to play and show themselves,” said head coach Marie-Louise Eta.
The gates of the Volksparkstadion Neuruppin open at 14:00, with kick off at 15:00. Tickets are available at the box office and cost €10 (full price) and €8 (reduced), children up to and including eight years receive free admission. For a seat in the stands, the entry price is €13.
Union informs about the matches in the club's own results ticker, and AFTV+ also offers a livestream.
