Patrick Scheder gave the away side the opener on seven minutes in Berlin. But Union bounced back in the second half and Yasar Cinar scored the equaliser for the Köpenick club.

Head coach Wili Weiße said: "We didn't have as much control over the game as we wanted in the first half, despite clear scoring chances. In the second half, we then made it significantly better and stuck to the opponent's half. Unfortunately, we have not made the second goal."

Union XI: Oppermann – Sander, Rankic, Riecke, Alimler – Opfermann Arcones, Gencel, Inaler (Inaler 46), Dehl – Eidtner (Sitz 85), Muschkowski

The next U19 Bundesliga takes place on December 3 at 11:00 away to VfL Osnabrück.
