U17 - U15

The youth players finished the 2021/22 season in 9th place of the league. The biggest success of the past season was winning the Berlin Cup.

The majority of the players had already gained important experience in cross-regional leagues in the two previous seasons. In many respects, the Bundesliga now provides optimum competition for the further football development of the young players.

The team plays in the highest league for this age group. The U16 players have to compete in the Regionalliga primarily against opponents who are one year older. In addition, the team participates in regional, national and international competitions. The clear goal is to play in an attack-oriented manner with a dominant style of play. The aim is to prepare the players as well as possible for the U17 Bundesliga.

For the young players, this is the first season with weekly competitive matches in a regional association. On each match day, the Red and Whites will face off against the best players in the North-East German Football Association (Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Thuringia). After the first year on the big pitch (U14), the aim now is to continue working on the details in individual and group tactics, but especially in the technical area. The players should find playful solutions regardless of the score or the competition. The team should be creative, courageous and technically adept.
