In the next week, 1. FC Union Berlin will ramp up preparations for the new Bundesliga season with two friendlies at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.

On Wednesday at 15:00 (12.08), Urs Fischer's side will welcome newly-promoted 2.Bundesliga outfit Würzburger Kickers to Köpenick for the first home outing of the 2020/21 campaign.

That is followed up with third-tier Dynamo Dresden on Sunday August 15 at 14:30.

Due to the current COVID restrictions in place, both matches will be played behind closed doors.

Fischer's squad will open the new season this Saturday at 15:00 at Regionalliga side Energie Cottbus. The full 90 minutes will be streamed on RBB Berlin.
