1. FC Union Berlin and Peter Kurzweg have gone their separate ways this summer with the left full-back signing for 3.Liga side Ingolstadt.

The 25-year-old signed from Würzburger Kickers in 2017 and completed nine appearances in Köpenick. Last season, he re-joined Kickers on a season-long loan deal in Germany's third division and featured 26 times. Kurzweg, comfortable in either full-back position, will look to bounce back from Ingolstadt's surprise relegation from the 2.Bundesliga.
