Today (Monday April 6), 1. FC Union Berlin's first-team squad resumed training at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei. However, given the current restrictions in place, the players will train only in small groups.
Urs Fischer's team will undergo various fitness tests on Monday and Tuesday – these will be completed in groups of five at the club's training pitches. After the results are back, Wednesday's regular training will take place. The respective groups of players will change in different changing rooms in order to keep the risk of infection as low as possible. All of the areas shared by the team are cleaned and disinfected several times per day.
