Lottery Sale for Borussia Dortmund

1. FC Union Berlin's second Bundesliga clash at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei is against Borussia Dortmund.

As a result of the high demand and low available tickets, the sales for the home match will be organised for the first time through a lottery system. With this process, the timing in particular will be significantly improved, which should give as many Union supporters as possible a chance to experience a home game this season. Also, the chance of success is no longer dependent on technical conditions.

A total of 5,500 tickets are available in advance for the home match against BVB: 5,100 are standing tickets and 400 are seated tickets.

Over a period of four days, it will be possible to book a free ticket online at the Union-Zeughaus website in order to participate in the lottery. The tickets won't be bound to a specific seat, but are only valid for standing or seats in general. The time at which the ticket is booked has no influence on the probability of winning a ticket.

Members without a season ticket are eligible to participate.

Tickets for the home match against Borussia Dortmund can be purchased from Friday August 16 at 10am exclusively at the Union-Zeughaus online.

After logging in, a standing ticket or seat can be booked up to and including Monday August 19 at midnight. The winners will be informed via email on Thursday August 22 and can redeem their ticket online from the time of notification until the end of the following day. Tickets can be purchased then depending on availability.

Those who have not been successful in the ballot will be informed also by email on Thursday August 22 in the morning. Should tickets still be available after the lottery, participants who were not successful will have the opportunity to purchase on Monday August 26 from 10am.
