Details for special train to VfL Bochum

On Sunday May 19, 1. FC Union Berlin head to VfL Bochum on the final weekend of the 2.Bundesliga season. A special train has been arranged by Eiserne Virus e.V. and all seats have been sold for the moment.

  • Departure Berlin-Lichtenberg: 08:28 / Platform 16 — Access to platform from 07:45.
  • Arrival Bochum Central Station: 13:43
  • Return Departure Bochum Central Station: 18:49 / Platform 6
  • Arrival Berlin-Lichtenberg: 23:51

Please be prepared for controls at the entrance to the platform.

Glass bottles, glasses, kegs, pallets and cases are not allowed on the train. Leave them at home!

Snacks, beer and soft drinks will be available for purchase on the train.

Access to the platform is only permitted with a valid ticket. Once you go through controls and reach the platforms, you are not allowed to return to the main station hall. Please remember!

People who have yet to collect their ticket can do so at the bottom of the platform next to the controls.

Please note: We accept no liability for objects or bags which are left on the train. Given the limited capacity for storage at stations, just take the most necessary things with you and leave the bags at home.

Smoking is permitted in the disco carraige.

Please take care of the compartments: there is mutual consideration. Clarify at the beginning of the journey whether you agree on a smoking or a non-smoking compartment. You can also smoke in the corridors. If you do smoke, please note that you must take suitable containers with you for ashtrays. This system has worked well so far — we hope so again.

Garbage bags will be distributed in the carraiges. Please use them so that the train looks halfway tidy for the return journey. If they are full, there are extra supplies at the counters.

If you notice any damage in your compartment, please contact a steward immediately who can document it. Otherwise, everyone is responsible for their own compartment.

Also: please keep the train free of stickers!

If you have any further questions or queries, you can always contact us on 0173-9987857 or talk to the accompanying stewards or Supporter Liaison Officers. The instructions of the stewards have to be followed on the train.

We will also point out that the stewards are entitled to exclude people who commit damage or repeatedly do not comply with their orders from the start of the journey. Details can be recorded and passed to the police.

We'd be happy if we didn't need to do that, but instead simply celebrate a great party together.
