2.Bundesliga agree to abolish Monday games
Meeting of clubs:
The representatives of the 18 2.Bundesliga clubs agreed on Monday that there would be no more Monday night matches when the new rights are distributed from season 2021/22.
A decision was reached in Frankfurt and a large majority agreed to support the abolishment of matches on Monday.
Instead, an extra time slot will be created for Saturday 20:15 for 2.Bundesliga games.
