1. FC Union Berlin lost 3-1 to FC St. Pauli in the U19 Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon — despite taking the lead through Daniel Eidtner on 32 minutes.

The Köpenick club battled well against the league leaders and Eidtner struck home from the penalty spot to reward a good half an hour from the visitors. 

However, Mert Kuyucu equalised with a close-range header on 42 minutes to give the Hamburg-based club a boost going into the half-time interval.

After Union failed to go back ahead, St. Pauli took the points with two goals in two minutes from Niclas Nadj and Moritz Seiffert.
