Union Berlin travel to Dynamo Dresden

League action returns following the international break and 1. FC Union Berlin's U19 squad travels to SG Dynamo Dresden on Saturday (13:00).

So, how did coach Wili Weiße utilise the break? "For many players it was an opportunity to catch their breath following a very intensive opening phase to the season — with seven league games and the Baltic Sea Cup — and get a new impulse going into the next half of the campaign. But not all the players had a break: Daniel Eidtner trained with the U!9 national team and three other players joined up with the best players in Berlin."

Union's last outings were a 6-2 win over VfL Osnabrück and a 26-0 triumph over BSV Oranke in the Berlin Cup. Weiße's side from Köpenick will head to Dresden with added confidence to continue their winning ways in the league.

Dresden sit in the middle of the U19 Bundesliga and also picked up their last three points against Osnabrück. With 10 points from six games, Dresden are one point behind Union Berlin having played a game less.

Kick-off on Saturday is at 13:00 with the match held at the Nachwuch Akademie Dynamo (Sportpark Ostra).
