A Return to Potsdam 

The 20-year-old spent the second half of the 2024/25 season in the Brandenburg capital and completed 15 matches in the jersey of the Blau-Weißen. Babelsberg ultimately secured their league survival, finishing 13th in the final table. 

“Yannic has already proven that he feels comfortable at Babelsberg and can make his mark. Therefore, another loan with playing time is a very good opportunity for all parties involved to continue his development,” said Horst Heldt, Union's director of men's professional football at 1.
