Beware of the Black market
Update About Union Tickets on Sales Platforms.
For years, the demand for tickets for 1. FC Union Berlin's men's home games at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei has been higher than the availability of places in the stadium. This unfortunately also increasingly brings black market dealers into play.
The club are therefore pointing out that the safest way to purchase a ticket for Union's matches is through the Union ticket office or on the official ticket resale market. Furthermore, 1. FC Union Berlin clarify that according to § 9.2 of its General Ticket Business Terms (ATGB), it is prohibited to offer and/or sell tickets for events of the club
… publicly, at auctions (especially on the internet) and/or on resale platforms not authorized by Union (e.g. viagogo, seatwave, StubHub, etc.).
… at a higher price than the paid price; a surcharge of up to 15% to compensate for incurred transaction costs is permissible.
...to sell or transfer tickets to commercial and professional resellers and/or ticket dealers.
...to use or allow the commercial or professional use of tickets without express prior written consent from Union.
The club reserve the right to take legal action against the providers of tickets for the club on the aforementioned platforms. Furthermore, it is pointed out that individuals with improperly acquired tickets will be denied entry to events of 1. FC Union Berlin.
These tickets become invalid, and the price will not be refunded by the club.
