Union's Women's Winter Schedule
After an eventful year 2025, the professional women's team bid farewell to the winter break on Saturday, 21.12., with an away victory at 1. FC Nürnberg. The Union’s women took the holidays and the turn of the year to spend time with family and friends.
On Sunday, 04.01.2026, the team will resume training and start preparing for the second half of the season. The kickoff will take place on Spanish soil and simultaneously marks the beginning of the training camp in Oliva Nova. While there, the Berlin women will play a Friendly against the Spanish fourth division team CD Castellón on Wednesday, 07.01., who currently holds the fifth place in the “Tercera Federación Femenina”. The return flight to Berlin is scheduled for Sunday, 11.01.2026.
Back in Germany, the team, led by head coach Ailien Poese, will prepare for the remaining second half of the season with another Friendly: On Saturday, 17.01.2026, the Unionerinnen will hold their dress rehearsal for the winter preparation.
The first competitive match of the new year will be played by the Unionerinnen on Friday, 23.01.2026, at home against Bayer 04 Leverkusen. The kickoff of matchday 15 will take place at 18:30. Tickets for the match are available for public sale in all Union merchandise stores and online. For all fans who want to attend all home matches in the second half of the season, the half-season ticket can be secured.
