Union dominant – HSV score again

With the first chance in the second half, Union took the lead again having attacked down the right : Lia Kamber, who had already impressed, assisted Halverkamps on the wing, whose cross initially just missed Lisa Heiseler in front of goal; however, Dina Orschmann found the net with a precise finish for her double after an hour.
Shortly after, the game shifted to the other half of the pitch. After a long-range shot from HSV by Svea Stoldt hit the right post and rebounded back into play, Paulina Bartz was in the right place and equalized again (62.).
With the equaliser in sight, Union played more aggressively forward towards the end of the second third. In the 72nd minute, Dina Orschmann's shot from about 25 yards was saved by HSV goalkeeper Inga Schuldt, who shone with a diving save. Then, substitute Hannah Eurlings tested Schuldt again, who was able to win the duel once more. In the last minute of the second third, Tanja Pawollek attempted a long-range shot to put her team in the lead; however, she put it well wide

Alma Aagard gathered her courage in the 104th minute and took a shot from 22 meters, but again Hamburg's stopper stood firm.
The closing phase was characterized by the battle now taken on by both sides. Ailien Poese's team created another chance after a sharp counterattack, but it was cleared After 120 intense minutes, the result remained a narrow 4-3 win for the hosts.
