Union's Round 2 clash scheduled for Dec 22

1. FC Union Berlin will take on SC Paderborn in Round 2 of the DFB Pokal on Tuesday December 22 at 20:45 at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.

1. FC Union Berlin will take on SC Paderborn in Round 2 of the DFB Pokal on Tuesday December 22 at 20:45 at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.

Urs Fischer's side progressed with a narrow win in extra-time in Karlsruhe in Round 1 and will play at home in the German Cup for the first time since December 2013.

Last season, Union reached the quarter-final of the tournament for the first time since our final appearance in 2001. Fischer's team went down 1-3 at Bayer Leverkusen at the start of March.

Paderborn, fourth in the 2.Bundesliga, are coached by former Union striker Steffen Baumgart and were relegated last season from Germany's top division.
