60 Years Old on 20. January
Union's Birthday Celebrations – Members' Meeting Cancelled
Next Tuesday, 1. FC Union Berlin will celebrate their 60th birthday. For the celebration, the club are inviting all members to an event that will include a look at current matters and the club's history, as well as the presentation of the Legends XI from Union's 60 years.
Celebrations will take place in a large festival tent at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei with around 4,000 seats, as well as in the area in front of the main stand, where members are invited to join a wintry setting with food and drink stalls. Since the capacities in the festival tent are limited, the ceremony will be broadcast live from the tent on screens in front of the main stand.
Entry starts at 17:30, and the event begins at 19:00. Please note that the event is reserved for club members only.
Regular Members' Meeting Canceled
The annual members' assembly (MV) originally planned for the same evening has been postponed to a later date within the statutory deadline until June 30, 2026. As the number of registrations exceeded the capacity of the festival tent so significantly, the statutory right of members to participate in the members' assembly could no longer be guaranteed.
A new date for the assembly will be announced in due time. Union members with a registered and valid email address have already received the current information, and letters have been posted.
Key financial figures
With the cancellation of the general meeting, all Union members will however still receive the club's key financial figures in advance.
In the 2024/25 season, Union recorded revenues of €191.66 million. The reported profit is €0.45 million, with positive equity of €8.07 million.
For the current 2025/26 season, Union are planning revenues of around €183.23 million. The projected consolidated net income is expected to be €0.48 million.
