Five members of the 1. FC Union Berlin men's first team are away representing their national teams, covering three different nations across various competitions.

The Nominations

András Schäfer is set to play four important matches in the UEFA Nations League with Hungary. The Magyars are facing Ukraine, Northern Ireland, and Georgia in Group 2 of League B, fighting for promotion to League A. This will mean more appearances in an already impressive international career for the midfielder, with Schäfer having already gained 45 caps for Hungary

Linus Güther is also looking forward to his next call-up. The forward, who has made a name for himself with strong performances over the past few months and has already played for the german U-15 and U-16 teams, is participating with the U-17s in a Four Nations tournament. There, they will face the youth teams from Venezuela, Israel, and England.
