Union to Play Altglienicke in the International Break

The men's team of 1. FC Union Berlin are using the upcoming international break for a friendly against VSG Altglienicke. Kick off is on Wednesday, 03.09.2025, at 18:30 in the Spree-Arena in Fürstenwalde.

VSG Altglienicke come from the Berlin district of Treptow-Köpenick and are one of the few clubs that managed to preserve their traditional name after founding in 1952, even during the GDR era. Since 2017, the first team have been playing in the Regionalliga Nordost, after successfully marching from the Kreisliga B to the fourth highest league within a little over a decade.
