1. FC Union Berlin will head to 2.Bundesliga outfit Karlsruher SC in the first round of the DFB Pokal, Germany's national cup competition.

Due to the postponement of many competitions after the outbreak of COVID-19, 23 of 64 participants in the first round of the Cup were not confirmed.

However, Union came out from the professional pot to meet KSC who finished 15th in Germany's 2.Bundesliga last season.

The ties will be scheduled in due course but will be played across the weekend of 11-14 September, 2020.
