A Break From the League
Union Players Called up for Internationals
The women's Bundesliga is undergoing its second international break, meaning four Union players are departing to represent their countries in friendlies.
The Nominees
Having helped Austria to survival in the Nations League League A,Eileen Campbell is now heading to the Spanish province of Cádiz along with new signing Marina Georgieva to play two friendlies. Alexander Schriebl's side will play against Finland on Thursday and then meet the Ukrainian team four days later.

Goalkeeper Nadine Böhi is also traveling to Cádiz with the Swiss national team where she will participate in two Friendlies. The A-team will first play against Belgium, before Union's goalkeeper gathers further playing time against Wales.

The Greek national team, led by midfielder Athanasia Moraitou, will also play two friendlies in the coming days. They host Belarus on Saturday and will face Bosnia and Herzegovina shortly thereafter.

Top scorer Sophie Weidauer has been nominated once again for the German U23 national team, but will not travel due to muscular complaints. Her German teammates are traveling to Portugal on Thursday and will play at home against their long-time rivals from France afterwards.
