“I think you can tell that we are not physically on par with our last two opponents yet. We are losing some second balls and our high pressing isn't always working out as we envisioned. In the second half, we performed better. However, there is still room for improvement and we are just at the beginning of our journey. Furthermore, I hope that the injury to the opponent [Maxim Hessel] is not too severe and wish for a speedy recovery.“

That is completely normal. We have only been working with Mauro for two weeks, so it will take some time to gel. Such things do not happen overnight. However, I am convinced that we will analyze the match well, draw the right conclusions from it, and improve step by step.” 

“After these two weeks, what I take away most is that we have played more games than training sessions so far. The load is currently very high, and in such a phase it can happen that we are not able to display our game over the entire distance as we envision.
