DFB-Pokal Round of 16:
Union Drawn to Host FC Bayern
1. FC Union Berlin's men's team will play their DFB Pokal round of 16 tie against FC Bayern München atthe Stadion An der Alten Försterei. The draw was made this Sunday evening.
Felix van den Hövel, a professional sailor in the SailGP racing series, was responsible for the draw at the German Football Museum in Dortmund, giving Union their second duel with the record champions within a few weeks.
“It is of course a really tough draw, we don't need to beat around the bush. But at least we are playing at home and that is a small advantage. In the Cup, it ultimately applies: If you want to reach the final, you have to beat everyone,” said Horst Heldt, Union's director of men's professional football.
The round of 16 of the DFB Pokal will take place on 02. and 03.12.2025, the exact schedule is still pending.
