DFB Sports Court Judgement:
Two-game suspension for András Schäfer
Union’s midfielder András Schäfer has been given a two-match suspension by the sports court of the German Football Association (DFB) following his red card from last Sunday evening, after Union appealed against the penalty proposed by the DFB Control Committee.
The Hungarian was sent off for foul play during the game between 1. FC Union Berlin's men's team and SV Werder Bremen.
The club and Schäfer have accepted the decision of the DFB sports court. This decision is now final.
