1. FC Union Berlin will play SC Freiburg at the Schwarzwaldstadion in the DFB Pokal second round – the date confirmed for Tuesday 29 October at 18:30.

Urs Fischer's side booked their place in the second round with a 6-0 win against Germania Halberstadt.

Last season, Union faced Borussia Dortmund at this stage of the competition, but after an outstanding performance, went down 3-2 at the death in extra time.
