Representing in Switzerland:

Three Union Players at the European Championship

On Wednesday, 02.07.2025, the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 starts. Three players from the women’s team of 1. FC Union Berlin have been called up for their respective nations at the tournament in Switzerland.

The Nominees

The hosts have called up goalkeeper Nadine Böhi. The 21-year-old joined Union this summer from FC St. Gallen 1879 and is still waiting for her first appearance in the dress of the "Nati". She will serve as number three behind Livia Peng and Elvira Herzog. In Group A, Switzerland will face Norway, Iceland, and Finland.

Hannah Eurlings is a long-standing member of the Belgian team. Although only 22 years old, she has already played 41 international matches. In the upcoming European Championship, the forward, who transferred from Belgian champions Oud-Heverlee Leuven to Union, will face Italy, Spain, and Portugal in Group B.

The Polish women's national team has qualified for a European Championship for the first time after succeeding in the Play-off against Romania and Austria. The standout player for the "Biało-czerwone" is FCU newcomer Tanja Pawollek. In their debut tournament, the Polish team will first face the German national team, where Pawollek will come up against former teammates from Eintracht Frankfurt. The other two group opponents are Sweden and Denmark.
