Ahead of an Eighth Bundesliga Season
The First Dates of the Summer.
With 2025/26 drawing to a close, the dates for the next season's first friendlies , the summer training camp, and the official season opener for the 1. FC Union Berlin men's first team have been confirmed.
As is tradition, the first team will go through their check-ups and sports medical tests and examinations as they return from their deserved long break. The first training session on home turf will take place on Wednesday, 01.07.2026 before the first week concludes with two away friendlies.
First, they will play 90 minutes against FSV Optik Rathenow on Saturday, 04.07.2026, before making the short hop to SV Grün-Weiß Lübben one day later.
