Union Members Take to the Water:
The Eisernen VIRUS Dragon Boat Races
Paddles at the ready. The Union family are headed to the Grünau regatta course for the traditional day of dragon boat races.
Paddling will take place this year courtesy of the Eisernen V.I.R.U.S. e.V. on Saturday, 30.08.2025. The start of the first race is at 09:00, with entry to the course beginning at 07:30.
Teams that do not want to carry their tents and tables to the meadow on the day can bring them to the site on Friday between 10:00 and 13:00. On the day itself, access is possible between 07:00 and 07:45.
In addition to the racing events, there will, of course, be a colourful supporting program as well as food and drinks. The Eisernen Botschafter will be present with a creative stand, and all visitors can look forward to the visit of some players from both Bundesliga teams of 1. FC Union Berlin. The players are expected around 15:30.
Please note:
Access is only via Rabindranath-Tagore-Straße. There is a one-way street regulation towards Bahnhof Grünau.
Due to construction work on the grounds, parking spaces are hardly available.
There is a ban on swimming and pyrotechnics.
