Development with Perspective

The 19-year-old has been consistently pursuing his path in professional football for years. After his football education in Ukraine, his career led him through Dynamo Dresden, where he made the jump to the men's level and proved his potential as a striker, to Berlin in the summer of 2025.

At Union, Bogdanov successfully continued his development. During his first season, he established himself both in the youth sector and in the environment of the professional team, gaining initial experience in the Bundesliga squad.

Even before his move to Berlin, Bogdanov gained international experience in the youth national teams of Ukraine. This summer, he participated with the U19 in the European Championship 2026 in Wales, where he helped the Ukrainian team reach the semifinals.

Dmytro Bogdanov expressed his pride: “I am very happy about the contract extension. Since my first day at Union, I have felt great trust and have been received excellently by the club.
