Austria and Switzerland in the Spanish sun – Greece unbeaten 

Two Union players were nominated for Austria, Eileen Campbell and Marina Georgieva, testing themselves against Finland and Ukraine. In the 1-1 draw against Finland, Campbell was in the starting lineup and was substituted after 62 minutes, while Georgieva did not see any action. In the 3-2 defeat against Ukraine, the center-back had to watch as Campbell was brought on after 60 minutes. 

The Swiss national team, featuring goalkeeper Nadine Böhi, also held a training camp in Cádiz. Union's keeper played in the neither the 2-1 defeat against Belgium nor the 3-2 loss to Wales, thus still awaiting her debut for the national team. 

The Greek national team, including Athanasia Moraitou, ended the year unbeaten in Zenica, Bosnia. In their 2-0 victory against Belarus, Moraitou was in the starting lineup and was substituted after 56 minutes. In the second friendly on Tuesday, the Greek women drew 1-1 with Bosnia and Herzegovina, though Union's number 77 did not see any action.
