Mekhi Gray's Contract Extended
1. FC Union Berlin have extended their contract with Mekhi Gray for the long-term. The 19-year-old striker, who has been under a professional player contract since December 2025, has been part of the Union academy since 2020 and has regularly trained with the first team over the past half year.
A constant threat in front of goal
The 6'5" Gray, who was born on 19.02.2007 in Kingston, Jamaica, began his football training at Weißenseer FC before moving to Union in 2020.
Once in Köpenick, he went through the U-17s and U-19s teams, becoming a key player in their attacking games. Gray has been a regular goalscorer in recent seasons and has gained important playing time at a high level. In his last year as a youth player, he scored eleven times in 15 appearances.
