Centre-back Mathis Bruns joins Regionalliga club Stuttgarter Kickers on a season-long loan. 

From Bielefeld to Berlin-Köpenick 

Born in Bielefeld, Bruns moved from East Westphalia to the German capital in the summer of 2011. At Union, he played in all youth teams up to the A-youth level and played 24 games in the U-19 Bundesliga. Last season, the 19-year-old was already loaned out to Italian club US Lecce for six months, where he played in two games for the U18s and three games for the U19s.
