KERMI: Union's Official Sleeve Sponsor

The ‘KERMI Wärmepumpen’ (heat pumps) logo will now appear on the left sleeve of both 1. FC Union’s professional, as well as youth teams. Kermi GmbH, based in Plattling, Lower Bavaria, are one of Europe's leading suppliers of sustainable heating systems and set standards in climate-friendly building technology with their heat pumps.

“We are delighted to have gained a partner in KERMI who embody technological sustainability and who share our holistic approach to professional football for men and women,” said Bernd von Geldern, Marketing Director at 1. FC Union Berlin on the announcement of the new deal. “The fact that KERMI are also sponsoring the shirt sleeves of the youth teams underlines the fundamental approach of this partnership.”

The jerseys with the KERMI logo will be worn for the first time by the men's first team in the first round of the DFB Pokal on Friday, 15 August, in Gütersloh. The women's first team will play their first game in them during the official season opener against Real Madrid on Sunday, 17 August, at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.
