International Call-Ups for Academy Players
Shortly after the start of the season, the first international break for the youth teams is approaching. 1. FC Union Berlin are releasing four youth players for their respective national teams.
The Nominees
U19 player Elias Ali has been nominated for the Palestinian U23 team for the first time. The Union forward will participate in the qualification matches for the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026. In the first match, Palestine will face Kyrgyzstan. In the two following matches, Sri Lanka and Uzbekistan await as opponents.

Additionally, Duje Sliskovic from the A-Jugend team has been called up for the Croatian U18s. This is the first nomination for the midfielder from Köpenick. The Croatians will play three Friendlies against Belgium, Qatar, and Italy.

Moreover, Luka Vulin from the U17s is on international duty with the U17 of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is also his first call-up. Bosnia are playing twice in Zenica against Montenegro.
