Conny Laudamus Memorial Tournament
Footballers and spectators welcome
The Conny-Laudamus memorial tournament will take place for the eighth time at the Trainingszentrum Oberspree on 28.03.2026, and teams are still being sought to participate.
Participation in this tournament, organized by the initiative "Welcome to Football," is open to players aged sixteen and older, and will be played in teams (5+1) on artificial turf.
The tournament starts at the venue of the Unioner Nachwuchsleistungszentrums (TZO) at 11:00, with the award ceremony scheduled for 16:00. Anyone wishing to participate with their team should register by 15.03.2026, providing a contact person via email to Peter.Hermanns@ib.de.

Those who wish to support the teams in the battle for the trophies are also warmly welcome. Admission is free and there will be provisions for refreshment.
Conny-We Praise You
In memory of Conny Laudamus, the alliance "Welcome to Football" is organizing the Conny Laudamus Memorial Tournament for the eighth time this year. Conny was the director for school and social affairs at 1. FC Union Berlin, a founding member of the Union Foundation, and a co-founder of the alliance "Welcome to Football". She passed away in June 2017. Conny's inspiration and her commitment to socially excluded individuals continue to resonate today.
Welcome to football
The alliance "Welcome to Football" in Berlin-Köpenick has been bringing together football enthusiasts with and without a refugee background since 2016. Until 2021, it was funded as a project of the German Children and Youth Foundation, and has since been continued under the leadership of the foundation of 1. FC Union Berlin "UNION VEREINT. Shoulder to shoulder" with other nonprofit partners.
