Double Feature in Köpenick on Saturday:
Cleaning up the Wuhle Before the Cup
This autumn's Bachparty - the cleaning of the banks of the Wuhle - is on Saturday, the 15th of November. The annual event takes place before the women's side's important cup-tie against Carl Zeiss Jena, which kicks off at 14:00 in the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.
As part of Union's responsibility for the section of the Wuhle along the grounds of the Stadion An der Alten Försterei, 1. FC Union Berlin, under the direction of the foundation "UNION VEREINT. Schulter an Schulter," clean the banks of the river twice a year of paper, glass, and other litter. After a break, all participants are ivited to support Union’s women in their battle to reach the next round of the DFB Pokal.
