Augsburg Re-Calling
Union's home game against Augsburg on Saturday will be kicked off the day before with a counterpart to the traditional Augsburg event program "Augsburg Calling", Köpenicks "Augsburg Recalling"
It all begins on Friday evening with a match between the clubs' legends' XIs teams at the TZO. On Union's side, among others, Torsten Mattuschka, Christopher Quiring, and Ronny Nikol will be on the pitch in front of goalkeeper Oskar Kosche, while Halil Altintop, Jan-Ingwer Callsen-Bracker, Zdenko Miletic, and Marco Löring will be representing Augsburg. After the match, there will be a joint gathering at the Schlossplatz in Köpenick's old town, where the presumably smallest brewery in Germany can be found.
On Saturday, a joint journey to the game will take place on three boats along the Spree, before the evening winds down at "Deftig" at Mandrellaplatz in Köpenick after the Bundesliga match of both teams.

About Augsburg Calling
When Augsburg's "General" Gerhard Seckler implemented his idea for an encounter program for home and away fans ahead of the home games of his FC Augsburg in 2007, he probably could not have dreamed of such a long lifespan. Union was an encounter partner from the very beginning, and to this day, every away match of the Eisernen in Augsburg is accompanied by an "Augsburg Calling". Whether it’s a reception at the mayor's office, a visit to the old Rosenau stadium, a city tour, or a market visit – many Unioner have gotten to know the Brecht city more closely during their away trips. The "General" is still on board today and is supported by Augsburg Regio Tourismus GmbH, the city of Augsburg, and FCA.
