Having suffered a foot injury last year, András Schäfer celebrated his comeback in the 1. FC Union Berlin starting XI, only to have another setback, and another operation.

Yesterday (Thursday) the 24 year old international underwent surgery on his foot in Budapest, but the operation on the midfielder went well and he is now on the road to recovery back home in Hungary.
