ARRIVAL With public transport
If you arrive at Berlin-Hauptbahnhof or Berlin-Ostbahnhof, take the S-Bahn S3 to Köpenick station, which is equipped with a lift.
On arrival at Berlin-Lichtenberg station, first take the S-Bahn S5, S7 or S75 into the city to Berlin-Ostbahnhof S-Bahn station, change platforms there to platform 9 and then take the S-Bahn S3 to Köpenick S-Bahn station.
From there it is a 10-15 minute "walk" along the railway embankment via Hämmerlingstraße to the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.
On arrival at Schönefeld S-Bahn station, please take the S-Bahn S9 towards the city centre to Schöneweide S-Bahn station. Leave the station there and take the disabled-friendly tram 63 in the direction of S-Bahn Köpenick (boarding at the front behind the driver!) to the Alte Försterei stop.
The Stadion An der Alten Försterei is directly opposite the stop. If you are a wheelchair user, please use the VIP entrance.
Arrival by Car
Coming from any direction on the motorway, take the Berliner Ring (A10) and from there the Berlin-Schönefeld motorway junction (A13, A113, A10) in the direction of Berlin. Please follow the A113 in the direction of Berlin-Zentrum and leave the motorway at the Berlin-Adlershof exit.
Follow the road Ernst-Ruska-Ufer / Köpenicker Straße. After crossing the Adlergestell, follow the road for approx. 1.5 kilometres on Glienicker Weg. Then turn left onto Spindlersfelder Straße. If you then turn right again at the end of the road, you are already on the road An der Wuhlheide and in the immediate vicinity of the stadium.
ATTENTION: There are only a few parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the stadium!
There are 20 disabled parking spaces on the stadium grounds, which can be reached via access road P1.
You can also use the disabled parking spaces at the Ballspielhalle - access via Hämmerlingstraße - with the appropriate proof.
Arrival by plane
Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER)
From Flughafen BER S-Bahn station, please take the S-Bahn S9 towards the city centre to Schöneweide S-Bahn station. Leave the station there and take the disabled tram 63 in the direction of S-Köpenick (boarding at the front behind the driver!) to the Alte Försterei stop.
The Stadion An der Alten Försterei is directly opposite the stop. As a wheelchair user, please use the VIP entrance.
A taxi ride from Schönefeld Airport to the stadium costs approx. 30,-€.
In the Stadium
There are 30 parking spaces available inside the stadium for wheelchair users and their companions. These are located in front of Sector 2 and Sector 4 and can be accessed through the passageways between Sector 2 and Sector 1 and between Sector 1 and Sector 4. The spaces are only partially covered - please do not forget rainwear!
Tickets
Tickets for severely disabled persons
The allocation of day tickets for severely disabled persons and their accompanying persons is carried out via a lottery procedure among the members. The disabled fans' representative Yvonne Kalisch-Vonhoff will take the order within the times of the lottery procedure via handicap@fc-union-berlin.de.
To register for the lottery, a copy of the disabled person's ID card and the membership number are required. The invoice and the tickets will be sent via print@home by e-mail or the tickets are also stored in the Zeughaus account.
SANITARY facilities
A disabled toilet is located near the sector.
